After almost 20 years of activity, LS&A today is focusing more on smaller projects, typically involving only a few associates and in some cases, only Lawrie. Nevertheless, the firm retains its zeal and enthusiasm for assisting with all forms of regulatory/supervisory issues.

Complementing his consulting work, Lawrie is Chair of the Property and Casualty Insurance Compensation Corporation (the Canadian ‘deposit insurance’ equivalent that supports Canadian general insurance policyholders in the event of the insolvency of their insurer), is on the board of ICICI Bank Canada where he serves on the Risk Committee and the Audit Committee, and is an Executive Fellow at the School of Public Policy at the University of Calgary.
